Northern Star FC was founded on a simple idea: families in youth soccer deserve a club that works for them — not for a trophy case, a ranking system, or a bottom line.
Our team brings decades of experience across American youth soccer, including U.S. Soccer licensed coaching, club Director of Coaching roles, and hands-on work developing the next generation of players and coaches. We’ve run clubs and programs, and we’ve seen firsthand how confusing, expensive, and disconnected the system can become from what actually helps kids develop and fall in love with the game.
Parents are bombarded with advice from people who don’t always have the child’s best interest at heart. Credentials get overlooked. Costs balloon. Kids burn out and quit. Northern Star FC exists so families have a club that truly puts the child first.
At NSFC, our only priority is your child. We build our environment around what actually matters: coaches who are properly licensed and SafeSport certified, a structured curriculum that connects every session to real player growth, and a culture of Courage, Integrity, and Honor that makes the field a safe place to develop — not just as a player, but as a person. We’re here for every stage — from first touches in elementary school through the competitive years of middle and high school.
We deliver this through transparent pricing, community-rooted programming, and a club philosophy that never wavers: the child comes first.
Soccer is the world’s game. It belongs in your backyard, played for the right reasons. We’d be glad to be your family’s club.
